Personal history

Though she doesn't remember it, Angela knows she was kidnapped with her older half-sister Evie from the care home they lived in. The quieter, more reserved of the siblings, Angie always excelled in remaining hidden and unnoticed -- and her powers reflected that as she grew. The squad relied on her from a young age to keep their secrets hidden, and her optimistic, spiritual nature kept morale high.
Unfortunately, Angela was the least compatible with the Controller's experiments, and soon her senses were stolen one by one. Still, she remained kind and optimistic, until the fateful day when the Controller decided she was no longer useful to him; a failure.
The squad were gathered in training, and the bombshell was dropped -- they were to test their abilities against their own fellow. Angela fought bravely despite her fear and disability, but eight against one was far too much, and she was finally given the fatal blow: impaled and left to bleed out while her family grieved around her.

The Controller still had use for her, however. Unbeknownsed to anyone else Angela was saved and kept as his personal pet, used as a guinea pig for many experiments to be given to her siblings and forced to work as his personal assistant behind the scenes. She plotted, however, working with Paul to uncover and release the Controller's secrets behind his back, and was instrumental in helping Lydia, Elyan, Erik and Tori  find and save their honourary family.
