Battalion Sergeant Major Alice Niamh Locke, CGM, MM*, CBC (a.k.a. The Witch)
The 3rd Warrant Officer I of the 1st Solent Rifles, Alice Locke, is the only female WOI and also the youngest in the regiment. She is tough and experienced having served with the Royal Irish Regiment, with whom she was with for 10 years, before having a illustrious, if brutal, career with the QOARC.
Still only in her thirties, she aims to be a RSM by the time she is forty, and her chances of succeeding are pretty good as many COs have been trying to woo her into jumping ship.

Other than having a cybernetic foot she is good physical form. Very tiny but extremely strong for her size, her body is just tone muscle. Despite this she has pretty big breasts, is aware of their existence and uses them to her advantage.

Born 2945, Alice Locke is the eldest child to Domhnall and Niamh Locke, they moved to Dublin from the colony of Galway, when Alice and her twin sister Saoirse were 6 months old. Unable to sit still long enough for anything other than barely passing her A-Levels, the rather diminutive, but extremely feisty, Alice decided to give the Army a try. She joined the Royal Irish Regiment, aged 19, as a regular squaddie. Life in the Army suited Alice well, with only getting into trouble for being a little disorganised. Passing through basic training squarely in the middle of the pack, Alice showed only a little of her outstanding talent.
The RIR were deployed along the Pan-American border, which was pretty quiet until they were requested to support the 9th CAA against the Tarquin in 2967 as part of the reinforcements used to start the aggressive counter attack that the 9th CAA is still performing to this day. Another fast climber she went from private to Warrant Officer I in 15 years despite the RIRs years of secondary duties, only being beaten by Ironsides who was promoted to WOI at the tender age of 29.
Due to a passing meeting with Lt-Colonel Alastair Macgregor that occurred 2967, she was transferred to the Queen's Own Anti-Revolutionary Company when it was created in 2970. She was posted to 6th section and immediately started showing her skills at spying and intelligence gathering, beginning in 2971 by cracking the codebooks used by the Scottish leadership.
The highlight of her QOARC career was the deployment to the American Aggression in 2976. Once deployed there Alice pulled the intelligence together that found the leaders of the revolt allowing Macgregor's group to execute them. After the 21st birthday of Queen Elizabeth XX, she was part of the team that rescued Richard Bartlett along with Macgregor and 1st Section from his torture by an American rebel splinter group.
In 2978, in the year before the disbanding of the QOARC, the Dublin government was overthrown and the border was closed. As one of the few Irish troopers in the unit, she was sent as a liaison with 2nd section who were already on the ground. The mission went sideways, and she ended up having to fight her way out of the main government building, killing her brother, who was in the rebellion as an senior officer and leaving his body to burn. As such, she is not on speaking terms with Alastair. Despite this, when the she joined the 1st Solent Rifles due to her loyalty to Richard and her friendship with Alexandra as the BSM of 2nd Battalion. For her actions in the Troubles, she was awarded the Conspicuous Gallantry Medal.
