Accolade

The Accolade stands at the pinnacle of power within the Krasian Meritocracy, serving as the presiding member of the Triad, which is the highest governing body of the nation. While the three members of the Triad collaborate and make decisions collectively, it is the Accolade who holds the final authority, acting as the spokesperson and figurehead of the Krasian government. The Accolade's role is one of profound influence and responsibility, as they guide the direction of the Meritocracy's policies and decisions during their tenure.
A unique aspect of the Accolade's position is the time-limited nature of their authority. Every 3 Galactic Standard years, the position of Accolade rotates among the members of the Triad. This rotation is symbolized by a remarkable council table with a tempered glass top and a mechanism that slowly turns, facing one "arc" of the table. This visual representation serves as a constant reminder of the transient nature of power in Krasia. It means that even if a Triad member is replaced, there is a possibility that a newer member may ascend to the role of Accolade, sometimes even over more senior members. Each Minister will have the opportunity to be Accolade during their tenure, though upon termination of their term as Accolade their position in the Triad is revoked. This system promotes diversity in leadership and prevents any single individual or faction from consolidating power for an extended period.
The Accolade's duties encompass a wide array of responsibilities, including making critical decisions on matters of state, representing the Meritocracy in diplomatic negotiations, and embodying the ideals and vision of Krasia to its citizens and the galaxy at large. They are often the face of Krasia's policies and are expected to lead with wisdom, fairness, and a deep understanding of the Meritocracy's core principles. This position requires not only political acumen but also the ability to inspire loyalty and unity among the Triad members and the Krasian people.

Appointment

The position of Accolade automatically passes from Minister to Minister among the Triad.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

1. A vote of No Confidence must be initiated from a member of the Krasian Triad.
2. The position of Accolade is frozen while a scheduled vote is arranged as soon as possible
3. All Krasian Citizens must vote. A 3/4 majority is required to remove the Accolade and force the title to shift to the next Minister in line while their position as Minister is replaced.
