Xanthic Hold

https://preview.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/420598/early-access-the-xanthic-hold   One of the reasons it was built was to defend against attacks coming through the Cave Portals during the early days of the settlement.   Monks and priests serving at the Firdt Lake Shrine used to stop here on their way back from their shifts at the shrine.   The Grussvatirbaym has been keeping the xanthoids that wander from the Xanthic Hold from spreading. Not on purpose: it just sees humanoids that are dumb enough to get turned around by its displacer trees and punishes them.   The Sprongindilfin know that a urine-soaked rag will block the spores from the Xanthic Hold but aren't interested in sharing it because it's not their problem.   The nobles who would go hunting at the Xanthic Hold would stop at Tryhk and get supplies and it was called "bastard's crossing" due to the number of bastards sired there
