The adventurers caught wind of some trouble in Ashkeeper peaks . Shadowfall Manor has called for aid in dealing with increasingly feral animals coming down from the mountains. The heroes decided to investigate and scaled the harsh mountains, fighting large infected beasts along the way until they came across what appeared to be some tainted water. Following the water to its source they encountered a spell ritual being performed, as the battle was drawing to a close, a bright flash blinded the party, seemingly consuming the leader and nearby components, and driving Elora and Rufus the dog into a wild frenzy! After subduing their friends through some thorough bonking, Eileen was able to identify the source of the corruption, and with the help of some of her enlarged friends (Ruby and Grayson), destroyed the corrupted pillars of the alter, and ending the spells influence of the springwater

Can be carefully crafted (leatherworker’s tools) into a cloak that grants resistance to cold damage. In extreme heat (DMG pg. 110), a creature wearing the cloak rolls Constitution saving throws to avoid exhaustion with disadvantage.
2 x Giant elk hides - (5gp each) Acts as a blanket. Can be crafted (leatherworker’s tools) into a cloak.
2 x Giant Antler - (2gp each) No immediate use. Can be consecrated (no crafting required) into a druidic focus by a druid.
14 x Giant Vulture Feathers. (5sp each) No immediate use. Can be crafted (calligrapher's supplies) into a pen, or carefully crafted (woodcarver’s tools) into 2 arrows.
2 x Giant Goat Hide - (5gp each) Acts as a blanket. Can be crafted (leatherworker’s tools) into a cloak.
2 x tattered scimitar tattered leather armor (2gp each) 2 x tattered leather armor (5gp each)
1 x note: Investigators are on our tails, We need a distraction, otherwise our efforts thus far will be for nothing. I have included a book and the components needed for such a distraction, it should take their eye off us for a while. Meet back up in the hills east of Dovan's Ferry when you've completed it, there's much work to be done yet.
