Landatis City

Landatis City, or Fish-Folk Island, is a large city that is spread out across a stretch of the extremely deep sea (10,000 meters below the sea). The city itself exists in a rocky hole at the bottom of the Red Line which allows for travel between the Grand Line and the New World. The city has several parts to it — a large bubbled, called the Barrier Bubble, in area where the main section of the city exists, a ship graveyard turned into a town below the bubble, and a second bubble inside of the larger one. School’s Point - School’s Point is a large city within the Barrier Bubble that is half filled with water. The top half is a section where “top-siders” can stay, while the bottom half is an underwater city that is primarily housing. The architecture of School’s Point is primarily made of White Stone that reflects and refracts light across the bubble above. This allows for incoming ships to have a “light guide” to the city itself. The buildings mostly have slanted roofs that lead to a flat area, which a spiked dome on top. That dome’s color changes depending on the owner of the home. This is the area where the Prime Minister's office is, as they want to be inclusive to all citizens of Landatis City.
  • White Stone Quarry - This quarry is where all the white stone in Landatis City. It is a large open space made of the same white stone that reflects and refracts light.
  • Coral Castaway - Hidden deep in the bottom of the Barrier Bubble is the Coral Castaway. It is a pocket of air surrounded a thriving coral reef. Inside of the Coral Castaway is an untouched bit of White Stone, as well as a Poneglyph. The Poneglyph reads as a message to the Fish-Folk people, apologizing that he would not be able to help them find their light. It is signed off by "Prometheus" or "The Harbinger of Light".
Tide’s End - This town exists outside of the Barrier Bubble, and is the spot where failed sailor’s ships are laid to rest, at the end of the Landis Tide. It’s a hangout spot for the Light Pirates, as well as other Fish-folk pirate groups, most notably it’s the home base of the group known as, “The World Sinkers.” Tide’s End is primarily made out of driftwood from the ship’s that ended their journey here. This town serves as their memorial. The Fish-Folk that live here dedicate their existence to those ships, but despise the pilots of them. Most of the inhabitants are laborers. This town is where Landatis Island began, however the history of how they got here has been erased.
  • The Hard Shell Skull - This large skull is the remnant of an ancient turtle. This turtle brought Landatis City from the North Blue to this resting place years ago, as the last remaining bastion of the Drifters. This fact has been forgotten about.
Reef Mahal - Reef Mahal is a large palace that exists in a second bubble inside of the submerged section of the Barrier Bubble. This bubble can be drained and flooded at will, to allow aquatic or “top side” guests. The Reef Mahal is built of White Stone, with four spires surrounding a large building with a large central domed roof, two smaller domed buildings on either side of it. Large carved out thresholds cover the outside of it, and a large coral reef garden covers the front entryway.
