Stonethorp

Stonethorp is where the majority of the inhabitants of Krakenheim live.  It is a large district, second only to Báturheim.  When the town was only a village, this use to be the heart of its activity, but slowly its trade and industry expanded the town, growing it further southward.

Architecture

The buildings here are mostly made of wood, with stone foundations.  Some have thatched rooves, while more wealthy inhabitants can afford tile rooves.  There are a number of old stone hovels supported by pillars and built halfway into the ground, from which the district gets its name, and where the poorest subjects live.
