Bound Books Co.

You enter into a neat room with row upon row of carefully organized books. Each one appears finely crafted, bound in leather with embossed titles occasionally emphasized by gold leaf. Signs above shelves indicate genre and topic.   A grumpy-looking man frowns at you from behind the counter and reluctantly puts down the book he was reading - A History of Kotha's Underground.   "Are we looking for anything specific, or just browsing?"

Purpose / Function

The owner of Bound Books Co. intended for it to be a chain, but had no need to open multiple stores within Kotha and quickly ran into the logistical problems of trying to establish and manage a secondary location across hundreds of miles of desert. He is a bit grumpy as a result of his failed endeavor, but does well enough off the sales of his single bookshop.
