The Queen's New Army

Formed almost exclusively of those loyal supporters who helped Queen Ruthata overthrow her father, King Yozri. The Queen's New Army may be a relatively small unit of soldiers compared to Krem's entire military, but as their jurisdiction only falls within the city of Esset-Khal, their size is perfectly serviceable.

Structure

The Queen's New Army follows the same rank structure as the modern American Army, with the exception of the title Queensman, a new title given to the head of Krem's military and equivalent to General of the Army - though in practice, the station focuses mostly on the Queen's New Army in Esset-Khal and has little do to with the function of the rest of Krem's standing army. Barum Oreforged has been the Queensman since Queen Ruthata took the throne four years ago.
There are several ranks between Queensman and Brigadeer General, but the party will not be interacting with such high-ranking soldiers. The highest-ranking officer they will have relations with is Brigadeer General Ansek Strizaph. Notable officers below her include Colonel Salzeph Brashka, Lieutenant Colonel Damuri Silvermantle, Major Brosum Barrelbust, and Captain Dorag Bluntmaul.
If the party joins the army, they will be trained by Sergeant Viska Kulhax. On completing their basic training, they are assigned to Second Lieutenant Girdana Leadbraid's squad. She and her friendly rival Second Lieutenant Moltir Wraithguard report to First Lieutenant Sabain Stormheart.
In the party's squad are Privates Dalomek Frostmaul, Davrec Ashgrip, Thuseldra Ironback, and Udoc Darkforge. You may choose to incorporate a rivalry between them and Moltir's squad, which comprises Private First Class Durol Hammerbraid and Privates Glorelda Jadebeard, Nuren Bronzeband, and Otrelyn Duskbrew (who, except for Durol, completed their basic training alongside the party), among others.
