Isabella leaves Iropolis with The Legion of Irileth

Diplomatic action

Isabella of eraseth leaves her home of Iropolis to start the Conquest of Losaria. During the campaign, she showed her tactical prowess and diplomatic talent.

30 years after the Alliance of Dawn locked themselves behind the Devine Gate, south of the River Irileth, Isabella of House Eraseth, newly crowned Empress of Iropolis was on her way to conquering the entire continent. There are two battles most important to the conquest.

• The Battle for the Southern Hold
• The Battle at the River Irileth

Isabella's first conquest was that of the Serine valley. The militarily unprepared people of the valley were struck by a sudden invasion of Losarian forces. Isabella, seeing the potential weakness of the province, commissions the building of a training ground for new forces, Staerdale.   Because of the rampant rise of the new Empire, Lord Movax of Sarenth, ruler of Dellophia, called for an alliance between Sarenth, Myrto and the Republic of Thereus. Sarenth and Myrto, large provinces in their own right, chose to align themselves being helmed by Lord Movax. Thereus, which by this point had grown into a vast realm, chose to abstain from such an alliance. The Republic of the Lapis City had convinced itself that they would be able to stop the Empire at the banks of the river.     Isabella, realising ruling over dead subjects would not be fruitful, convinced the Therosian council to abandon the battle on the condition that they would serve as their own council, with the Emperor as figurehead and ultimate decision maker. Thereus work with a council of 13, the council would shrink to 12 elected members and the emperor would serve as the eternal 13th member.
