Caranae V
A planet in the Caranae System.
Caranae V is a large, heavy gas giant. This has made it nearly impossible to reach the artifact in its core, but that hasnt stopped the Hyperion Federation from scanning it closely because its core is most likely exposed (except the very dense atmosphere).
Caranae V also has many precursor defence platforms orbiting it. This makes it much more difficult to reach, even the HF would have trouble reaching the central artifact.
It is also well known that Caranae V has an extreme axial tilt meaning that it does not have days or nights and just experiences seasonal changes. This causes one side to warm up over a season and the other side to cool. This can often cause very powerful winds from the hot areas to the cold areas, making it even more undesirable. Caranae V also has 62 moons. These can also have a significant impact on the worlds tides and some asteroid fields can be difficult to fly through.
Thankfully, as HF starships are extremely well shielded and armoured, asteroids usually bounce off. This does mean, though, that the ship is also knocked backwards and launch the crew within the ship. This can sometimes be unsafe.
