Kralaran Orbital Launch Facility
Large orbital launching facility located in a remote area known as Kralaran, which is relatively close to the city of Kronath, Eranath.
The largest of such structures built by the human civilization inhibiting the planet before their space age, it also has been known to launch the very first Republic of Miasi rocket into space. Since then, it has been used many times in history and became a key part of their transition to a space faring civilization.
Despite this, it would eventually be rendered obsolete by very powerful space elevators located on the world, one of which near the facility. It is sometimes still used for historic and cultural purposes due to its important history. It's become a symbol of progress.
Due to the threat of rocket parts falling off mid flight (e.g. stage separations), the population was kept in underground bunkers whenever it lunched. With advances in technology this hazard was reduced enough that retreating became unnecessary. It would also be underground, under the facility, that the rockets would often be built too, if not built on the launch pads themselves.
The area would be supplied by large trains that run from various directions nearby.
