Independant Star Nation residing in the Arcturus galaxy. They are one of the superpowers of the galaxy, with powerful cannons, plasma weaponry and chainguns. Their starships are often fast for their weight class. They have become allies with the Hyperion Federation because of their egalitarian nature. They are at war with the Alti Dominion. The HF joined the war.
The leading and primary species of the republic are humans - the same species as found on the Leosus Ring World. Leosus and Miasan humans are capable of reproducing with each other without the use of Crossbreeding technology.
