Eranath
A planet located in the Jenat System. This is famously the homeworld of the human race under the Republic of Miasi.
Eranath has conditions that are almost perfect for human life. However as humans were seeded onto that world instead of having evolved, there are no other humanoid species on the world, no apes. It is covered in about 50% ocean and a single large supercontinent that spans the other half of the worlds surface. There are many rivers that pierce the supercontinent though, so it is mostly forest. Part of the continent also sits on the south pole, and other the equator, creating a wide range of terrains for them to adapt to.
Water travel was practically unused except to exploit resources and for niche travel uses. In more current times, the supercontinent has 2 large space elevators. Although Eranath has been almost exhausted of resources, the planet remains alive by Miasi activity, especially since it has such a large industry and population, and being the home planet of the Miasi is very important culturally. The world also has a number of large radar towers providing constant intel over the ocean, in case something happens there such as an invasion.
