KX Foundation
Large mega corporation of the Alti Dominion specialising in strong military starships and powerful railguns.
The KX Foundation was one of the first to uncover what is now a major technology of the Dominion military, the Time Dilation Device(TDD). the KX Foundation exploited this, and have earned a lot of profits on selling these machines to both the dominion itself and other military industrial complex companies.
Unlike their closest Republic of Miasi equivalent, UltraSpace, KX is less limited by government regulations, particularly in areas such as working conditions and minimum wages. This has led to large demonstrations and worker strikes (and deaths), but as the CEOs still believe it is more profitable to ignore them, they do not fix it.
Also unlike UltraSpace, they started building weapons well after the beginning of the Alti space age, bringing into perspective just ho rapidly their TDD technology has earned them power. Another thing they specialise in are strong armour materials as similar alloys have also been found on the Dyson sphere.
Due to this technology, they established their HQ on the precursor Dyson sphere in the Supreme Alti System, allowing them to easily communicate with their engineering teams at the time. As that technology became better understood, manufacturing of TDDs have been largely moved to other worlds though, causing the company to consider moving HQ.
Now, their most famous and well known product is the Conquest - Class Battleship and, later, A.D.S. Behemoth. Both of these have made for excellent propaganda also.
