Psi Nalut III
A small, rocky planet of the Psi Nalut system, a black hole owned by the Hyperion Federation.
Psi Nalut III is a very cold, dark planet with a large number of monopoles present. These have been extracted often by the Hyperion Federation and used for scientific purposes, and sometimes as weapons. The planet also has a large HF mining operation on it, that mines on the core of the planet. Because the world already lacks a magnetosphere, core extraction is not an issue and so the HF can extract it at full power. This gives them a lot of matter plasma to use, but fewer monopoles are present in the core. This is because less energy from the star's supernova has effected the core than the surface. Unlike other planets with monopoles, this planet has a disparity of monopoles. There are significantly more North monopoles than South monopoles. This causes the planet itself to be monopolar in nature. This is powerful enough to be measured and may have an impact on technologies and waether patterns of the planet (if it had weather patterns). Due to this, no auroras will happen on the planet as while most beta radiation is captured it does not re-enter via the dipoles as it has none.
This planet is thus very useful to the HF. They have defended it using a number of defence platforms, making sure to coordinate them with other defence platforms of the system, allowing the HF to request fire support for this planet from other defence platforms through the system. This largely improves their capability to defend this planet from virtually all large threats.
