Rift-Capable Warp Drive RCWD

Drives capable of crossing or even lingering in Spatial Rifts. These are slightly larger and even more energy intensive than an IGWDs which can massively limit their use. They work by temporarily repairing space around them by directing intense beams of gravitons.   A RCWD is very highly power intensive. They require Hypermatter to function, which is not a resource that comes cheap. Because of this, the HF usually still navigates around spatial rifts rather than through them, but occasionally launching surprise attacks from a rift can carry a massive amount of valuable surprise. In some cases this can completely change the outcome of a battle.   This hypermatter is used to warp space immensely at a very tight location. It will cause it to drop massively until the plane eventually touches the plane at the other side of the rift. Shortly after this, the hypermatter particle would probably have already fallen out of the universe, or it is probably about to decay. The rest of the plane is repaired with extremely precise Graviton Wave Refraction. The level of precision needed here is extremely high, all values must be within about 0.03% of the correct values.   RCWDs are also culturally important. The various cultures of the HF recognize that these machines are some of the most advanced machines the HF has access to. They also know that future advances in RCWDs might finally be able to fix the destruction of a Slipspace Bomb.
