Hypermatter

A ludicrously dense form of exotic matter.   Hypermatter has an extremely high energy density but low mass density. It is more energy dense than quark-gluon plasma, by far, as individual quanta can be energized by most of the power output of a Dyson Sphere for a short time. At these energy levels, hypermatter particles travel at less than 1 mm/s less than the speed of light which gives it an immensely high Lorentz factor.   It is used primarily in IGWDs but it can be weaponized using Hypermatter Accelerator Cannons, but those can form a weak spot on the ship using them and the hypermatter ammunition is highly expensive.

Manufacturing

Hypermatter is made in extreme high-energy particle physics. The sheer scale of megastructures required to make it gives it a high price. Often, to power a particle collider so large, they require a large portion of a Dyson sphere worth of power. Single particles of Hypermatter can be equivalent to the energy produced by a star over about 0.0002 seconds.

Whoever makes it needs access to a particle collider the size of a ring world which can often be about 1 Astronomical Unit in radius
