Scronala Star Lifter

The Scronala Star Lifter is a megastructure consisting of 2 large ring worlds built around the star. The smaller ring world extracts some stellar plasma which is then used to generate energy. Due to the megastructure being a ring world, it does not capture the star radiation. Therefore, all the planets orbiting it have remained habitable. In fact, the addition of the star lifter has had little impact on life on the planets.
The star lifter works by creating a magnetic field around the star itself which is capable of manipulating the stellar plasma. The electromagnets in the ring oscillate with a frequency that is very close to the resonant frequency of the star which causes it to efficiently leak plasma through the poles which is then collected by the larger ring world in a higher radius, whose orbit is positioned at 90 degrees from the smaller star lifter. The larger ring also stores power generated from fusing this stellar plasma.
