Artimer Hoggins (a.k.a. Art)
Artimer Hoggins is one of the owners of the Pig Stye and the Hoggins Butchery. Artimer, along with his older brother Alton, own and operate both establishments.
Artimer is often considered the "brains" of the operation, where his brother Alton is the "brawn". The brothers inherited the operation from their father, Hollis Hoggins, who died only four years ago. Artimer is credited with the idea behind the Pig Stye tavern. Since the family processed and moved so much pork on a daily basis, offering just a portion of that product as a finished meal seemed like easy money to Artimer. He convinced his father and his brother, kicked off the operation, and has watched the money roll in ever since. They have never had roast pork left over at the end of a day, and the crowds have always presented as soon as the noon bells toll in the Watch Tower.
