Aryus Cervisius
Aryus Cervisius (a.k.a. Ary)
Aryus Cervisius is a 207-year-old Gnome originally from the City of Cyell that has taken up the operation of an inn and brewery in the small neighborhood of Tillmans Corner in the Junn Harr city of Zimnii Gorod.
Aryus and his wife, Arysia, along with their three children, all work and manage the inn and tavern at Tillmans Corner on the high banks of the Caldar River. They arrived in Zimnii Gorod about 8 years ago, and stayed at the riverside for several weeks, growing quite close to the owner of the landing, Emory Tillman. It was Emory that suggested they stay on with him at the Corner and work to establish an inn that could provide comfortable lodgings for travellers from the east looking to do business with the Junn Harr.
Aryus comes from a family of brewers and vintners, and he married a daughter of a very famous brewer. The entire Cervisius family can be considered experts in the field of brewing beers, ales, ciders and porters, as well as wine making and (increasingly) the distillation of wines and beers into much, much stronger alcohols.

Aryus has become quite fascinated with a process his son, Talius, has developed that concentrates and collected the alcohol in beer and wine into a much, much more portent and intixicating (and inflammable) liquid. Through careful experimentation and craftsmanship, they have built an elaborate contraption that they refer to as the distillator that concentrates the essense of beer and wine into a clear flammable liquid that has as much as 20 times the alcoholic properties of the original beer or wine.
