Castellan of Lorancourt
The Castellan of Lorancourt is a rank and title of the highest ranking military officer of the Duchy of Lorancourt. The Castellan is, literally, the governor of the Castle at Lorancourt and the Lord Commander of all military units assigned to the castle. The Castellan answers only to the Duke of Lorancourt, Lomain am Lomanni himself.
The current Castellan is Darren Feldman.

Duties
Command, conrol and administration of all military units assigned to the Castle and by extension the City of Lorancourt.
Responsibilities
Training, equipping, supplying, housing and maintenance of equipment
Benefits
200 guilders a month, housing, provisioning and equipping
Accoutrements & Equipment
Castellans wield a Staff of Office, commonly referred to as a baton (Arian term for stave or rod) and the Castellan of Lorancourt has a hickory baton with a four-faced diamond shaped mace head at its top.
Grounds for Removal/Dismissal
Only at the will of the Duke
