Lord Edbert Staton
Edbert Staton is the current Lord Chamberlain of Lesser Imesse and a nobleman of the Kingdom of Lesser Imesse. He is the son of the first Lord Chamberlain, Edgar Staton, who was appointed by the former King, Mak I and retained by the current King, Mak II until Edgar's death ten years ago.
Edbert is a quiet, humble man that does not flaunt or display his rank or station needlessly. He has a preferrence for plain, utilitarian clothing and is studious and methodical in his efforts to complete his duties. He lives in a small suit of apartments in the Royal Palace, alone but for his large hound, Sunshine.

Edbert keeps a large female mastiff as a companion in his apartments. The mastiff, named Sunshine, as an amazingly smart animal and is utterly devoted to Edbert. Apart from personal servants and a cook, very few visitors to Edbert's apartments are tolerated by Sunshine who is very particular about who is allowed close to her master.
