Grand Marshal, Order of the Swords of Heaven
A Grand Marshal is a former Grand Master that has stepped down as the leader of the Order of the Swords of Heaven once past the age of 65 years. A Grand Marshal retains his religious authority (equal to an Ecclesiast) and continues to advise and counsel the Grand Marshal in his duties. Many have continued to lead the Order's Regimental Divisions into combat in times of crisis, and most take a large role in the training of the Regiments, as well. The only living Grand Marshal is Riccard Sharpe.
Once a Grand Marshal takes his vows, he is a Grand Marshal until he dies.
