Grand Chaplain, Order of the Swords of Heaven
The Grand Chaplain is the rank of high priest/priestess that commands the Chaplaincy Division of the Order of the Swords of Heaven. It is an office filled by appointment from the Grand Master , and is typically granted for life, although there are many examples of Grand Chaplains being removed from their office with the election of a new Grand Master.
The current Grand Chaplain is Brassard Carrel, a 64-year-old Human that is a far distant cousin to the last King of Aria, Marcel III. He is a vocal proponent of a large-scale action to be initiated against the Elvish incursions into the Arian west by the Elven Realm of Naru.
