Kel'a Thron

His Serene Majesty, Autarch Kel'a Thron

Kel'a Thron was Autarch of Naru and the father of the current Autarch, Kel'a Bron. He reigned as Autarch for only 170 years (a remarkably short reign for an Even King) before being killed during a war against invading Orc hordes from the Arak Mountains to the south, commonly known as tthe Ten Winter War.   Thron is most remembered for bringing to an end the systematic and institutional persecution of Gnome and Halfling people by the Elves that had been going on for many centuries. He made it a crime punishable by death for any Elf to kill, harm or enslave a Gnome of Halfling and freed all slaves held by Elves anywhere in the Elven Realm of Naru. He also made it a crime punishable by exile to adhere to or promote the philosophy of Drow'anar, which promoted the racial, spiritual and cultural superiority of Elvenkind over all others. This policy of tolerance and change drove tens of thousands of Elves from Naru and into the far reaches of the world where they would settle new lands and call themselves Drowkin.

Personality Characteristics

Motivation

From his earliest years, Thron was passionately opposed to the killing, enslavement and persecution of Gnomes and Halflings by Elves.  No one is quite sure why this is, however.
