King's Companies
The King's Companies are two companies of foot and one company of horse that are sworn to serve and defend the High King and his household. They are known indivudally as the King's Company of Horse, the First King's Company of Foot and the Second King's Company of Foot. All are highly trained and highly motivated men-at-arms sworn to serve and protect the High King in all things.
The Company of Horse numbers 80 mounted knights, led by two Captains and a Lord Commander of Horse. The First Company of Foot numbers 100 heavy foot and are led by two Captains and a Lord Commander of Foot. The Second Company of Foot is comprised of 60 lightly armored scouts led by two Captains and a Lord Commander of Foot. All three Companies are commanded and overseen by the Lord Defender of Northern Imesse, Lenis am Maxalli.
