His Highness, Regate Myrin Burri
Myrin Burri is the Regate of the Regio Soliris in the Principality of Fangort. He was appointed to this position by Prince Rodin III Argoni after he married the Prince's oldest sister, Rania Argoni.
Myrin was the only son of an ancient noble family of Fangort, the Burris. Holding vast estates in the Regio Soliris, the Burri family has aquired a significant fortune and immense influence within the Principality. When he came of age, it was made clear to him that an heir was required to ensure the family's continued prosperity. He has worked methodically to secure this legacy, and his marriage to Rania has gained him much influence and position at Court, but has not secured him a direct heir to the Burri legacy.

Motivation
Myrin is a very ambitious man, and has proven himself so by marrying Rania Argoni, who has already had numerous affairs since becoming Myrin's wife. His elevation to Regate came with the price of marrying the Prince's troubled older daughter, however, and he has shown that he is very willing to pay that price.
Myrin has as his primary goal to secure his family's future with an heir to his Burri fortunes. He has no children of his own, and his wife, Rania, is beyond her child-bearing years. He has decided that his wife's daughters are far more rational and functional than their mother, and he has adopted them as his heirs. He has provided a binding legal testament to the Court at Solir stating as much. Gia will inherit the Burri name and estates in the Regio Soliris upon his death, and Ghita will inherit all the Burri holdings outside of the Regio, along with a sizable sum of gold.
Some in the Burri family have questioned this action, but Myrin is committed. By this course, the Burri family will forever be joined with the Royal House of Argoni and its future.

Myrin is married the the Prince's oldest sister, Rania Argoni. It is not a happy marriage, and Rania detests Myrin. Myrin has grown quite close to Rania's daughters, however, and is genuinely trying to secure for them a safe and happy future. Both girls are mature, intelligent women and Myrin has dedicated himself to cementing good and happy marriages as both the nieces of the Prince and the step-daughters of a Regate.
