Minasus
Minasus began as a small Setitian fishing village with a natural deep-water bay, ideal for mooring larger vessels that couldn't navigate the shallower waters near Cademor. As Cademor grew into a Namorian enclave, Minasus evolved into a frontier town catering to the needs and desires of the newcomers.
Governance
Minasus is governed by a Burghur (Setitian: Shar'taal, meaning "Town Leader"), elected by the town's property owners. This position, while officially independent, often goes to an individual who can balance the interests of the local Setitian population, Namorian business owners, and the regional Setitian lord. Notable Features- The Gilded Quarter (Setitian: Altash'ka, meaning "Golden Streets") - A district of high-end establishments including exclusive clubs, brothels, and gambling halls.
- The Steamworks (Setitian: Vap'raam, meaning "Steam Baths") - The developed hot springs and bathhouses.
- The Haze (Setitian: Kho'mira, meaning "Smoke Veil") - The area known for its taverns and intoxicant dens.
- The Old Harbor (Setitian: Su'kari, meaning "Ancestral Port") - The original fishing port struggling to maintain its traditional industry.
- The Setitian Quarter (Setitian: Tira'hamu, meaning "Our Home") - The area where many original Setitian inhabitants live.
