Mora Tirion

Purpose / Function

Mora Tirion is one of the last remaining cities within the Eastern Elven Kingdom, it is a large city that is mainly focussed on fishing as its primary export and resource. The fish off of the coast of Mora Tirion are some of the rarest fish in all of Timeuria and most only exist in a few places, with some being exclusive to the waters surrounding Mora Tirion. They help supply the Eastern Elven Kingdom with food as well as trading with other civilizations for resources that the Elves need. During the festivals in the Capital, they supply all of the beautiful fish that many of the elves and tourists in attendance consume.

Architecture

The architecture here is much more subtle and subdued compared to many elven cities. While still beautiful in its own way, the buildings are more muted in color and almost blend in with the coastline of Tidallis. You will see many different shades of sandy colors on the buildings walls with the roofs being a deep blue color usually. The city is built vertically so it doesn't take up nearly as much space as human or other humanoids. They respect the land around them and want to take up as little land as possible while also keeping the natural aesthetics of the land in consideration.

Defenses

The city has very basic fortifications including walls and has a decent sized army that patrols its borders. The brunt of its defenses are supplied by Osonora and the threat of a massive counterattack should anyone be bold or stupid enough to lay siege to it. There are also natural defenses in the form of jagged coral reefs and rocks that can rip a ships hull apart in a matter of seconds if they take the wrong path.

History

Mora Tirion started out as an extension of Osonora when they discovered the vast array of fish and sea creatures in the waters surrounding it. They established it as a fishing village that grew over time into the full blown city it is today.
