Ash Cleeve

Ash Cleeve is a small Wood-Elf settlement nestled close to the treetops of Darkwood Forest.
The village is built on wooden platforms on the thick tree branches, of the thousand year old trees, and connected by woven bridges. The village looks like a constellation when viewed from above. From the ground, Ash Cleeve is heavily obscured by the foliage, and shrouded by magic - only those that know of its location can find it.

Politics and Factions

The village leader is Sorrel, a wood elf whose name among his own people is Eledorn Falestein. Ash Cleeve's military commander is Bistort, who spends much of his time hunting down any creature who comes to close to its borders. Unknown to the leaders, there are a few Dark Elves who has abandoned their ways and is living in secrecy among the Wood-Elves, with illusion magic, posing as normal villagers. They have no real ill intentions.

Notable Persons

Sorrel
Sorrel is the leader of Ash Cleeve. His once-bright eyes, adorned with centuries of wisdom, now bore the weight of the ceaseless responsibilities of keeping the village safe from outsiders and threats of the forest. The silver strands of his flowing blond hair shimmered like moonlight, but they were now streaked with threads of grey, marking the passage of time.
Sorrel believes Darkwood Forest can be reclaimed, and tasks his Wood-Elves to protect the woods as best they can, while keeping secrecy.
Bistort
A stern and battle hardened Wood-Elf, who keeps his hair short unlike his race. Bistort is a practical elf, and has been through countless of combats, with new scars every decade as proof of his experiences. Bistort has his people's best interest at hard, thus he knows Sorrel's wishes are impossible, and focuses his elves on keeping Ash Cleeve's safety the only priority. Bistort has zero tolerance to Dark Elves, as he considers them impure breeds of elves.
