Forest of Spiders
The Forest of Spiders is an extensive area of woodland in Allansia, on the western coast. The entire forest terrain is covered by webs and silks, spun for the giant spiders who dwells in the dimlit woods, making the terrain difficult to traverse. It is rumoured that it is the site of Stittle Woad, home to the Elves of the region, a hidden settlement protected from prying eyes by magical means. The fabled Rainbow Ponds are also located in these woods, where tales of beautiful sprite-like creatures bathe in these waters. Some claim the ponds cure any ailment for those who seek it, others claim they are cursed vessels for witches to maintain their eternal youth. Regardless, these are mere stories for most travellers, as they have not encountered anything in the forest except overgrown spiders.
