Wennig

Wennig is chief councillor in Saardath. As one of the councillors, he advises the Mayor, on matters pertaining to the town.
The Mayor cares little for politics and order, thus placing Wennig in charge.
Wennig has his ulterior motives and secretly profits from smuggling. Every month, part of the town's vault is emptied during the "accounting exercise", and into his own coffers.

Appearance

Wennig has long oily black hair, and a noticable unibrow. He is drabbbled in dark garp, rich yet unrefined.

Personality

Wennig scowls and is rude to everyone, except talking to the Mayor, which he feigns a sickening smile. Like the Mayor, Wennig is a miser. His cronies that work for him despises him, but fears him due to his strong connection and network of spies.

Early life

Wennig grew up in small village, and worked as a chore boy in his youth. He is often scolded by his abusive boss, but learned the art to be invisible as a person of lowly status. He picked up secrets and uses them as leverage on his cruel employers. Arriving to Saardath , he lied, cheated, and schemed his way up to become a councillor in a few years. He knows keeping the fool as a Mayor serves him much more use than taking the position himself.
