Borodin Ironwise

Borodin Ironwise is a Dwarf and the son of Kalladar Ironwise, Ur-Thane of Kurdenheim. He is an ambitious young man, and he’s well aware that his twin sister, Gallada is his chief rival (and the favorite to take the crown.) He agrees with his father’s isolationist tendencies, feeling that the time of the Seven Kingdoms is well past, and believes that the strength of dwarven-kind should be used to protect dwarves alone.
Twins are very rare among dwarves, and they are often considered “The Two in One”, from a dwarven belief that twins are one dwarf that fractured into two. Although Borodin is an excellent diplomat, and every bit his father’s equal in forge-craft, his skill at battle is nothing of note. He is keenly aware that Gallada is the warrior he is not, something that further deepens the rift between them. If the two of them chose to work together, they would likely be a nearly unbeatable team. Unfortunately, the twins are bitter rivals for the title of Ur-Thane, and an alliance doesn’t seem in the offing.
