Davron

 

Davron, called “the Blue”, is the smaller of Tol’s two moons (the other being Kassyle “the Golden”.) Kassyle comes full every 13 days. On the 15th of Chul, Davron is new and Kassyle is full. These days are marked as the festival of Midsummer, which is holy to the Summerling goddess Shandalene.

Aust 15 and16 are the days when both moons come full, leading to the festival days of Harvest Moon.

On Jada the first of each year, both Davron and Kassyle are New, and this marks the first day of the New Year. This day is holy to the Summerling god Oldorin.
