Fomorian

Towards the end of the Dawn War, the Gods and their allies began to put the forces of the Primordials on the run. One tribe of Giants fled from the Gods into the Feywild. As the Primal Spirits called The Totems pursued them, the giants fled from the Totems’ wrath into the dark places of the Feywild, they were changed and twisted by the dark, wild magics of this new underground realm. One eye on each of them expanded, as if to peer more easily into the darkness, but wild magic flooded in. Their bodies, minds, and spirits were twisted and deformed. Now, they rule the Feydark as the terrible Fomorians.
These mad, egotistical creatures are mortal enemies of the noble Eladrin and the Court of Stars of the Fey. They created the Cyclops, servants as evil and twisted as they were. Although they sought to enslave the Gnomes who dwelled under the hills, the smaller fey were too wily for them and escaped from under the hills to the forests of the Feywild and then ultimately to Tol.
