Isolde

Isolde is a mostly unknown figure, although it's known that she is Eladrin. She was the original proprietor of the Witchlight Carnival. She became disatisfied with bringing the same wonder to travelers, yearning to bring something darker to the show. One day, the Witchlight pulled up at a crossroads on Tol, and Isolde saw a more sinsiter carnival pitched across the way. She later went and spoke to the proprietors, a pair of Shadar-kai now known as Mr. Witch and Mr. Light. She discovered that they were gloomy about the kind of macabre entertainment their carnival was putting on, wishing they could offer something more wondrous.

Isolde and the Shadar-kai struck a bargain. Each would take the other's carnival and switch their routes. Isolde and her macabre carnival would travel the byways of the Shadowfell while Mr. Witch & Mr. Light would take the Witchlight Carnival to various spots in the mortal realms and in theFeywild. They agreed that they would each run the other's carnivals until they met again. It's not known what Isolde thinks of the bargain, but the Shadar-kai never wish to see her or their old show again.
