Kiera Hillborne

Kiera Hillborne was a woman of Kalrentai ancestry who lived in Barwych. She had been a soldier in the War of the Three Headsuntil an orcish arrow in her back cost her the use of her legs. She then began plying a trade as a tinker, making small items for her neighbors, or to sell.
During her travels to sell her wares at Seowyn's Crossing's trading faire, she was captured by the Weaver Lich Serresque and taken to Greathome for his experiments to recreate the work of the Scientist Simic. She became one of the first Simic Hybrids.
The experiments gave her gills, a manta ray like patagia, and the use of her legs again. She thinks of the change far more as a blessing than a curse, and she's not shy about voicing it. Now, she travels around Summerlund, seeking others who might want to try the process to repair damages that the war brought on them. She sends those she finds back to Greathome, where the Weaver Selentai works to understand Simic's process to recreate it for those who desire it or reverse it for those who seek a "Cure".
