Weaver

The Weavers or vol’Tuirnen as they call themselves are more commonly known as the Old Ones to the people of the Seven Kingdoms. They were one of the first races created by the Gods and were the creation of the deity Amoth who created them in their own image. The Weavers were immensely powerful Wizards, capable of casting multiple spells at the same time due to the compartmentalized nature of their brains and their six arms. In addition, they discovered the creation of chromatic disks that allowed them even further spellcasting capabilities and spell storage capacity. According to Selentai, possibly the last living Weaver, the Weavers also possess the ability to give up expertise on one subject to take on another expertise temporarily. Before the Dawn War , the Weavers were already making immense strides in both magic and science.
When Amoth was slain during the Dawn War, the Weavers blamed both the Primordials that slew their deity and the Gods that failed to stop the act of deicide. They decided to create a weapon to destroy Tol to punish both sides that fought for its control. This weapon, the Worldbreaker or Tarrasque, required that almost all the Weavers sacrifice their own existence, but only a handful of dissenters did not become part of this plan of vengeance.
Only two Weavers are known to remain. Selentai is a gentle philosopher who did not wish to see Tol destroyed and became a conscientious objector to the plan, taking up residence in the Weaver citadel known as Northhome. He entered a period of stasis to send out his consciousness to far-flung planes and worlds. Serresque had no desire to die, and, instead, became a Lich, feeding off the souls of the dying that the Tarrasque left behind.
