The Monastery of the Four Dragons is a school of martial arts in the city of
Lashakis. It was founded by
Dojhani travelers who came across the sea bearing the teachings of the
Kalashtar. After meeting with
Dragonborn scholars, they adapted their arts, finding new ways to harness the elements in their fighting styles, calling their new art the Way of the Four Elements.
The Monastery teaches spiritual perfection through physical excellence, and it encourages its students to live an ascetic lifestyle. The students are mostly Dragonborn and
Human, although some
Minotaurs have taken up the art as well, and students of all stripes make pilgrimage to learn the techniques the school has perfected.
The current headmistress of the school is
Hejarika Aurumgesh, a gold dragonborn. She continues to teach the ways handed down to her, and she is very traditional in her teachings.
