The Four Winds

The Humans known as the Hastane believe in a quartet of Gods Overview that they call the Four Winds. They brought their worship from their ancestral lands in Jotunheld where they had previously been slaves to the Giants. The Four Winds rule the Astral domain of Valenheim. The winds are:

• Hodrun, the North Wind – Wind of Storms (Air)
• Modria, the South Wind – Wind of War (Fire)
• Narthun, the East Wind – Wind of Oceans (Water)
• Vestria, the West Wind – Wind of Death (Earth)

They are harsh and unforgiving deities, as cold and fierce as the lands they came from. Some believe that they may have been Primordials who crossed sides in the earliest days of the Dawn Warand have ascended to godhood.
