Turtle Cove

 

Turtle Cove is a secluded cove on the southern coast of Summerlund, close to the town of Sudahven. It is named for the sea turtles that sun themselves on the warm, sandy beaches. In 1081 SKR it became the headquarters of Phoenix Company under Commander Karatacus Brightshield and Prince Harbryn Thonwyr as they attempted to retake the island of Sudwaine from the Orcish Hordes. Even after the main encampment was moved to Wavewatch Gate late in the year, Turtle Cove was still important as the launching point for supplies and reinforcements throughout the War of the Broken Chain.
