The Vault of Storms is a dungeon that was constructed by
Yasmira al-Fashid after she and the
Argent Circle defeated the
Tarrasque. She created it to protect the spell that she had used to seal the Tarrasque away after its defeat, and then she buried it under the sands of the Desolation of
Azmartheon. The area where it was buried became known as the
Eye of the Storm, because no sandstorms disturbed the area.
It remained largely undisturbed until the Tarrasque was summoned back by the
Five Who Call in 1081 SKR. At that time, as part of their efforts to defeat the Tarrasque, the
Fire Wasps located and explored the dungeons, defeating its challenges, and proving themselves worthy of the spell's power.
Naali Chamond took the knowledge of the spell and the dungeon was buried once more.
