Dwarven Pantheon

The Dwarven Pantheon consists of the most important religious Deity among dwarven in Toriel. The religion combines the Various god mainly worshiped by dwarven, or dwarf-like gods. Each god tends to possess its own worshiper, and its own cult and religion. Most major Dwarf cities have various churches or temples dedicated to those gods.

True gods

God may vary widely, but dwarves only believe in inherently divine gods. They do not believe those accessing to godhood are true gods and generally refuse to worship them, or to great them with the title of god.   Below is the list of gods the dwarves consider true gods and accept to worship.

Dwarven true gods

Among the true gods, the dwarves have a special relation with Ornn and Valhir, as those gods greatly influenced dwarven history over the years.

Popular opinion and worship

The Dwarven Pantheon is fixed, as the dwarves do not believe in ascension to godhood, the god in their pantheon stays the same, except for the potential Death of one of them.   Dwarven gods often physically manifest among their followers, and many love them for this reason, making them fervent worshipers, and granting those gods tremendous power.

Festival and Celebrations

Many gods are worshiped during various celebrations and holidays, but a few of those traditional celebrations are specifically made in honor of one god or another. The following list shows the official major holidays and/or festivals honoring a specific God, (mostly celebrated in Ice-peak Concord):
  • Hljanrjiak Festival - Oontrom the 45th
  • Zwatan Dag - Kasthomin the 54th
The dates are written within the Dwarven Calendar month and date.
