Heart of Fire

The Heart of Fire is a towering volcano that rises from the Great Southern Wall, standing a staggering twenty-thousand feet above its surrounding sister peaks. The mountain is an intimidating sight, with its dark and jagged peaks, and the pungent smell of sulfur and ash permeates the air around it. The heat from the mountain's core can be felt even at its base, keeping the mountains free from the cold and snow all while wisps of smoke trailing from its peak can be seen from Karackas on clear days.   Many tribes in the southern parts of the Raja'ri see the Heart of Fire as a living, breathing entity, an ultimate incarnation of fiery, unimaginable destruction and many Raja'ri believe that its awakening shall again bring forth another cataclysmic event; one rivaling that of The Sundering. A great many people claimed to have kissed the peak, but few believe their tales... their names have been lost to time for reasons unknown.
