Isles of Oteth

The Isles of Oteth are comprised of the main island Oteth and the surrounding smaller islands, The Scattered Isles. The landscape is primarily dense forests. The Isles sholes are difficult and slow to traverse due to the swathes of scattered reef beds aiding in its fortifications and defense; it is one of the few things that allow the Otethans to hold their independence from rivaling nations and piracy. But if the Isles have one geographic weakness in comparison to the countries of Kalbela it is the severe lack of metal ores as there are few mountains on the entire continent; this has forced its inhabitants to have smaller, more natural settlements and fortifications in comparison to the people of Kalbela. However, this is something the Half-Wood Elf descendants take great pride in order to retain their ancestral elven roots.
