Obadiah Kordev
Obadiah Kordev is the first-born, and only, son of Solomon Kordev, the Marquess of Damarel and Baron of the Gold Plains and his late wife, Zelah Kordev.
Obadiah was already in in his late-teens when his mother passed and while there was a fair amount of growing pain when his father eventually took his second wife, Akina, in the following years after he'd mourned Zelah, things slowly returned to a semblance of normalcy within Damarel's courts. The pair have a mutual respect for each other's position and their respective roles within the courts, and while there is love it is just not the same as the true mother-son bond he'd once had.
Obadiah, however loves his little sisters and brother with all his heart and would die for them a thousand times over. He will often be seen with them whether or not he is on duty in the Silverwing Tower as the Captain of the Tower Guard.
His father's court has been preparing him for succession to take on the mantles as the Marquess of Damarel and and Warden of the East Riverlands, although his father is in strong shape and Obadiah himself still must marry and sire an heir to further secure his own legacy in the histories of the Empire. He for one though, like many others, hopes that his reign is a peaceful and prosperous one.

Since his father married Akina and they both learned about her Kitsune heritage, Obadiah has become a follower of the Kitsune deity, Iko, the Great Fox Spirit. He too wears a small pendent of the face of Iko as his father does.
