The Black Gate
The Black Gate is a sight to behold and a marvel of engineering by the Dawnclaws and their deity. It is a 70-foot tall, 150-foot wide, and 8-foot thick double door made of solid adamantine. Said to be nigh impenetrable, sourcing material and creating this monstrosity was started at the infancy of Karackas's founding a few centuries before The Curved Emerald was even a thought, many speculate the wall was built for the door rather than vice versa. It takes an entire company of men and three scores of beasts to close the gate in an hour, even with magical aid provided.
