Withdrawal from the Jade Wood

Kasper Cahlan withdraws himself from his station in the Jade Wood.

Kasper Cahlan had been on an espionage and reconnaissance mission for near a decade on behalf of the Empire. His mission was simple, observe and learn more about the Wood Elves of the Jade Wood to see if they were supplying aid to the noble houses that had risen up on the side of the Usurper, despite their truce with the Volker Dynasty.   Cahlan's mission was a covert one and no official order was ever given as such if his mission was ever compromised, he was on his own to deal with Myrdin Xyrdri.   He had taken measures to seamlessly traverse the woods, but had grown weary of the possibility his means of infiltration had been unraveled due to the longevity of his mission. He also wanted to be out of the Jade before the last leaf fell and winter descended upon him again.   He returns to Arine under the cloak of night to deliver his report and is immediately discharged from Grand Army of Salvae with gratitude from the Emperor and the Empire for his years of service and sacrifice.
