Cahlan Family
House Cahlan is led by its current patriarch, Lord Kasper Cahlan, the First Baron of Landow. Kasper would serve in the Grand Army of Salvae during The Salvae Revolution for a few years before he would be sent to the Jade Wood, where he would not be seen again until nearly five years after the revolution was subdued.
Kasper would be awarded the title of Baron of Landow in Tarsakh of 980 ATS. He would court and eventually marry Lady Tara Ardennes prior to his elevation and formal coronation.
Upon settling in Landow they would bring their first child, Cade, into the world, unfortunately the Baroness would succumb to bedside fever a few days later in 981 ATS. The year would continue to test the new Baron when his childhood mentor too would pass.
Kasper would enlist the aid of his childhood friend, Raydon Besk, after the old soldier retired from service and proposed to him a marriage between Kasper's son and his newborn daughter to combine their houses so that they can better lead and rule what they would hope could become a formal Marquessate and finally reunite the Salvae Empire's Southern Lands as their mentor, Cadlym Bolluln had dreamt about for centuries.
As the histories cross into the Fourth Age, Lord Cahlan awaits for his son's betrothal to become a reality and Landow itself has become a regional staple and hub under his, and Besk's, rulership.
Military
House Cahlan has a half dozen soldiers under its employ that serve as guardsmen and general council to the family. These soldiers also bolster the local militia of Landow.
